Reporting cadence

A practical rhythm for keeping automation metrics honest after the dictionary is set—without inventing another dashboard for every release.

How a week runs

Cadence is the product. Charts are optional props.

  1. 01

    Freeze the dictionary

No new event names land in the weekly pack until they have an owner and a one-line definition. Near-duplicates are rejected in the review notes, not debated in chat.

  2. 02

    Thirty-minute agenda

Outcomes that moved, retries that spiked, and any metric whose definition changed this release. Questions that cannot be answered from the dictionary become tickets.

  3. 03

    Written notes, not slides

Each review produces a short note: what stayed, what drifted, and the next three fixes. Your team keeps the document; we do not operate your monitoring account.

  4. 04

    Handoff to the next sprint

Priority guidance ties back to the audit or workshop deliverables so cadence does not float free of the original engagement.
